Enjoy!!!

The event was held on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 at DE SERING in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The event hosted about 200 guests including children, singles, couples, friends and families all coming together for the sole aim of celebrating the unique and diverse culture of Nigeria.

The event started at about 12 noon in a perfect ambience that gave the desired Nigerian Party Vibe. We had a welcome speech from the organizers @MyNigeria.NL who did an amazing job putting the people, place and party together. Guests went into a session of meet and greet alongside brunch. We had a lineup of interesting games, performances, comedy, karaoke, food and drinks. The event catered for all categories of guests. The event featured painting activities and a bouncy castle for kids, exciting games, a green carpet, karaoke and interesting performances for Adults.

GAMES FOR ADULTS

The compere at the event was in the person of Sheyii Shals who did an incredible job keeping things moving along and making sure everyone had fun. The event also featured amazing performances from DJ Sunny-Afro, Moon Gabi, D’Asani, J’mani and DJYMX; Plus we had comedy from The Willie who really cracked everyone up. We also had Youtube influencers Jess Bam. T, Gift Egwuenu and Josephine Ogugua and it was a whole lot of selfies and joy seeing them in person. The fun from vibing to the artistes’ performances and having the event boom with nice Nigerian afrobeat music gave a real home-away-from-home feeling.

MINDBLOWING PERFORMANCES

The aroma of Nigerian delicacies prepared and sold by our very own NaijaNL Chefs filled the air. We had dishes from Chef Zibah, Naijachef Nl, Jollof Place and Cookery Muse. These delicacies such as Boli and Groundnut, Egusi soup and Fufu, Efo Riro, Jollof rice, Fried rice amongst others took guests back home there in DE SERING. The food prepared by vendors sold out before the end of the event, leaving guests wanting some more.

The event reflected a true celebration of our Nigerian culture here in Europe with fellow Nigerians from around the world. Guests were really impressed and satisfied with the turnout of the event. Some of them went on to share their delight on various media platforms.
